I believe this was this troubled directors first feature in English (although I may be wrong).

More clues later.

Clue: Second sequel to a 1973 horror "classic." Directed by the writer of the aforementioned original.

Hm, I know this picture, but I can't remember it from The Exorcist III. But The Exorcist is the only horror "classic" from 1973 with a second sequel. The Wicker Man doesn't have two sequels, Don't Look Now doesn't have two sequels, The Crazies doesn't have two sequels...
I'll stick to The Exorcist III.

Hope this one hasn't been posted yet.

A definite and absolute must-see. This movie has an unbelievable cast, a great director and a well written script. At the time of its release it put most of its actors on the map, earning one of them even a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. Most of these actors (with some exceptions) were hardly kown at the time. Today, everyone who knows at least a little bit about film and television knows almost every single person in this movie. If this one would have been cast within the last years, it could probably be the most expensive movie of all time from the salaries alone.

Enough hints, here's the screenshot:

Postal Paranoiac
the woman is the title character; based on a historic event; countless films on the subject; Jeanne Moreau played her as well.

Is it Catherine The Great?
Is it Tallulah Bankhead?
Can this be any more difficult?
