With the feudal system in mind, I wondered if it was an appropriate way to gain some insight into people's pespectives of how Freeones works. I'll throw in some classes and people can make make amendments, or additions where there are any glaring omissions. Don't use it to flame anyone, though - it's just for fun:

Crown: I was going to say Vladimir Putin but I don't know how active he's been of late.
Bishops: sponsors/advertisers?
The Court:
Knights:
Squires: admin?
Priests: mods?
Peasants: people with a good history on the Board
Serfs: people like me, probably
The Blind:
Beggars: Spammers
Lepers:
Oulaws/The Excommunicated: Banned people


Hopefully that'll get things started.

Err.......I think implementing a system that makes one member of the board seem higher up than most others is bound to cause resentment among the rest of us mere mortals. Nay I see Freeones as - wait for it - a form of socialism, we are all equal and everything is shared between us. There are those in power (the mods) they were not elected by the people, which would be the norm in a democratic system. No they were chosen by those who were in power before them. Classic socialism. There are many members on here who will be appalled to know that they are a part of this. But it is the truth. FreeOnes is not a democracy and is not a feudal system either. FreeOnes is a socialist state, nothing more nothing less.

Kings, Queens, Knights do not represent the members here on FreeOnes, we are all the people and our work on the board brings the site reward :D


Anyway, can I be a Knight? ;)

I've always viewed it as an Empire.

FreeOnes is the sort of absentee Emperor
Petra is the all-powerful (Mother Goddess) Regent who takes care of the day-to-day affairs.
Rorys, Roald, etc are members of the Emperors Court
Mods would be the Lords that enforce the laws

The rest of us would just be subjects.

So I guess I do see it as being somewhat Feudal.

I think there are more titles in a feudal system then just crown, bishop, court...right?

Shouldn't we lay out the entire line of aristrocracy? King, Earl, Duke, Baron, Baronet...etc.?

I think Knights should those of us that's been here for 5 years or more. Knights promised loyalty to the Barons and my Baroness is MiniDog!!! Plus I was a soldier and I've been loyal to Freeones for over 5 years. So anyone tries something with MiniD has to go through me!! :ak47:

Will we get served large portions of dark ale by you at a semi-dingy bar in dirty but quaint glass mugs that you carry out on a large platter in one of those classic bar wench uniforms while we scarf down some food and be rowdy at the table telling stories of adventures yonder? ;)
