favourite horror movie and killer!

And how could i have forgotten the great Hannibal Lechter, now he is awesome, a killer who can get inside your head....in more ways than one of course.

One of my faves is also Friday the 13th....the Original Friday the 13th...because I think Jason's mother made the ultimate killer as she avenged her son's death. One of my favorite parts of that movie is where Kevin Bacon's character gets a spear through his throat after having sex....classic "death after sex" scene. Having Jason pop out of the water and pull the last surviving woman into the lake was a nice touch, too.

Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and The Army of Darkness were all pretty good too, even though The Army of Darkness was made to be humorous...

House of 1000 Corpses was pretty intense, too. Supposedly Zombie is making another scary and it's supposed to be released this year. Then he's going to make a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses.

I'm a fan of all scary movies, even if they're bad.

house of a 1000 corpses was actually kind of good in my opinion. then again i like twisted kind of movies. Yeah i know j-lo was in it, but i rather liked the cell. Then again I think Vincent De'nofrio is one twisted good actor. good scary movie is the thing. Loved how it kept you guessing on who was the monster. Another good flick is event horizon. Yeah its a bit cheasey, but the thought of it all and the gore factor was good. Nothing really scares me, so i tend to like the twisted scary movies. oh and i love it when no one survives. Makes you say damn, like in the movie the Fallen with denzel Washington.

Favorite horror movie = Jaws (if you consider that horror)

If not Jaws then Halloween. Micheal Myers would probably be my favorite killer.

Honorable mention to Jason and Leatherface.

Favorite horror film is one that maybe none here has heard of. Beyond Dream's Door. Low budget, so the special effects are crap, but the film is a bit surreal, and the script is great in my opinion. :)
Beyond Dream's Door (1989)

Favorite horror film killer is Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare On Elm Street films. He's funny, twisted, and imaginative in his ways to kill his victims, and I've always had an affinity for horror films with super-natural elements. ;)

I've just seen one of the Cannibal films of those you mentioned, I think it was Cannibal Ferox 1. I nearly fell asleep, because I felt it was boring and pointless, but maybe it's just me that has that opinion on it. ;)

The Evil Dead films's genres in my opinion... ;)
Evil Dead - Book of the Dead = just horror
Evil Dead 2 - Dead by Dawn = horror comedy
Evil Dead 3 - Army of Darkness - The Medieval Dead = just comedy

I like the second Evil Dead film the best, I think it has the right mix of horror and comedy, then comes the first film, and last the third film, it was too much comedy, too little horror. All three films are good though. :)

All the Evil Dead movies were great for their crazy take on the horror and gore, but it's the The Shining for me.

I love The Shining, the old one directed by Stanley Kubrick and with Jack Nicholson in one of the roles. Did you know that Stanley Kubrick's filming angles in those scenes with the cycling boy where inspired by the cycling scene in the first The Omen film. Another film I really like. :)

house of a 1000 corpses, nightmare on elm street and Bad Taste.
Bad Taste is a low budget film from Peter Jackson. There are many more horror movies that i like, this is just a few.

Jason in Friday in 13th pt 6 killed 27 people in 30 mins

When jason get his hockey mask sliced off in pt 4 how did he get one in pt 6 he didnt go into a sport shop and get one . Does he have a mass stock supply or something

All of those films are good. Cannibal Holocaust is extremely gory and contains real animals death so if you are offended by this you might not want to watch it. Also, almost all of those movies focus heavily on rape.

Jason got his mask in part 6 from Tommy Jarvis who brought it with him to Jasons grave at the beginning.

I like Bad Taste too. Have you seen Braindead? That is another Peter Jackson film and it's also good I think. :)

And to all of you who likes horror films about zombies, Braindead by Peter Jackson is also a zombie film. ;)
