I'll go with cheddar cheese or sour cream & onions.

Sadly I've read 15 or so responses in this thread and still have no clue what the fuck "crisps" are.

I'm going to guess chips?

I'm wondering why "roast chicken" is a poll option. Never heard of it yet ketchup isn't on the list yet every Canadian I've spoken to bashes me over the head at how absurdly awesome they are.

I'll vote for plain salted. Traditional, reliable, boring.

nah dude. i never heard of this dill pickle craze. honestly, it sounds a bit revolting, but then again, you can find me wolfing down some pretty unusual things. dried cuttlefish, salted duck egg, fish roe.. but pickles!? i dunno man.

Don't think of it as "pickles," but more dill. Dill is a lovely herb FWIW. Very heavily used in Scandinavian cooking and such. I love it in my potato salad and occasionally in tuna sandwich or, like I stated, that dip. It's basically a sour cream-based dip which I can tell you I think it's pretty damn good for veggies and chips. :2 cents:

dill i get. but pickles, at least the ones ive had (and ive cheffed my heart out for many years) dont really taste like dill.

yeah, i know they use the hell out of the stuff in scandinavian cooking and i like it alright myself here and there. its good in a sour cream dip and its great with salmon. and yeah, sometimes i put it in my potato salad too.

but calling it "pickles" just doesnt connect to me. ;) why not call it dill? or is it dill spiked with a bit vinegar?
