Favorite Film Genre

Mainly sci-fi then mysteries, action, adventure, MA, comedies, film-noir, classics, and dramas, in that order, but there are many exceptions.

I don't get what it is about horror movies that people enjoy?
Is it just the adrenaline rush, or is it some kind of sadistic pleasure watching all the bloody gore?

I would say horror, war are fav's. I Dig what's waiting around the corner kinda stuff. But I also like documentaries. Just watched a PBS docu "Alone in the Wilderness" about Richard(Dick) Proenneke that I really enjoyed. If your into the survivalist type shit.

A good mob flick, or an accurate war movie. Then comedies, concert, documentaries.....and then I don't think much about it. I do hate horror and especially Satanic flicks.

I have no idea why other people like horror, I know why I like horror. I personally like scary shit because of the thrill of not knowing what is around the corner- as I already said. I enjoy the surprise, excitement and goosebumps
