The show is well done style wise, but still i dont understand, if these aliens want to hunt humanity down they are so slow and dumb, people get to play lacrosse only a mile away and have a bbq!
If they have such a techinical advantage does a AK-47 and a bunch of amatuer soliders really have a chance to out smart them?

GO for it. It may improve. I always give shows like this a few episodes to settle in.

We have a couple eps recorded on the Tivo. Haven't watched yet.
Disappointment? Hate to hear that.
I really wanted to like this show, but I'm finding it hard to relate to any of the characters.
I'll keep looking for a few more episodes at least.

I think its not too bad. Hay you have to give these shows a chance. It sure beats the hell out of another So-you-think-you-can-sing-and-dance-as-a-boss show. Now I dont know about european t.v., but us here in america have let that Simon fuck dumb us down. We have become so dependant on people setting every little point about characters because we are used to being forced mindless dribble. Use your mind sheep and try and come up with your own back story on some of the characters. Its not all that bad and hay some of these cable network channels are starting to atleast go outside the box and try and deliver decent plot driven shows instead of this reality talent bullshit shows we are forced to watch.
I like the idea of the show more than what it has been so far. The writing is lacking. I'm going to continue to watch until I forget about it or decide to give up on it. I agree with Fairchild that it's hard to relate to the characters...they're just really boring right now.

Yeah, it was on last night. Very ordinary so far, but like you said it may get better.
I think it's ok, but nothing special. I expected a little more. The special effects are really good for a tv show, but it actually is hard to relate to any of the characters except for one or two. It's not bad and I applaud the try to bring something new to the tv screen, but compared to some other new shows like Game of Thrones or The Borgias it is somewhat mediocre.
Apparently it started on Tuesday on FX here in the UK, gonna have to look for the repeat

I just saw that they were signed for a second season to be shown n the summer of 2012.
And I will say that the show is not what I expected from the ads I saw for it before it premiered but I will be patient and see what happens as we see more episodes. It does have the potential to grow alot.
