omg after seeing all those topless shots, I am so looking forward to see her fully dressed.
After all that drama I'm losing interest. The diva thing never really did it for me.
And for the record, that was a pretty funny post.
omg after seeing all those topless shots, I am so looking forward to see her fully dressed.
That's what I get for just not using (and cutting'n pasting) from a thesaurus.infatuation, not infactuation.
And people wonder why OCSMs leave (and don't come back)?
It starts with innocent infactuation.
But then we turn it into expectation ...
then repeat accusation after accusation ...
then utter, never-ending conflagration.
Eventually there just comes her absentation.
And even then, people say its frustration,
Blaming it totally on her tantalization.
Hence why there's never any expiation.
And a few mention another model, full exploitation,
Of the thread, which is its finalization.
Okay, here's the "explanation" ...Am I the only one who doesn't get it?
Faith's early work is cute and sexy, she always appeared to be the 'girl next door' - an understated, curvaceous, huge breasted, incredibly pretty youngster with more than a hint of vulnerability.
However, in the light of Faith changing her mind about stripping off for the cameras, and declaring herself happy as a function of that, I now wonder about some of those pics - there are sets in which her expression hints at all sorts of emotions, from worried, to confused, to teasing, back to unsure... There could be many reasons: Faith capitalising on her own special appeal; the best body shots may have just been the ones that also caught 'inbetween' facial expressions; perhaps the photographer, support, studio, post-shoot editing, whatever, could have been 'better.'
Then she changed. Whether through working-out, or diet, or simply growing more into her own body and becoming a woman, she lost weight, and curves... and people complained.
I understand the sentiment behind some of those complaints, but they were insensitively expressed. There seemed to be a 'Faith 1' and a 'Faith 2', and fans of Faith 1 felt a kind of loss, like Faith 1 had been killed by Faith 2, and it was as if they wanted to give a little pay back. That wasn't really fair, though, and I think, if anyone had enjoyed a lot of Faith's early work (and especially if they never paid for it) then those... exertions... perhaps should be appreciated, rather than cast aside with scathing comments when they came (!) to an end.
Then Faith said there would be no more explicit shots, nor even topless, and she wouldn't confirm whether her new 'projects' were even to do with, or related to, the glamour industry.
People complained again.
Faith said she's happier now. Fans have said she looks happier in her more recent work, the non nude stuff.
Through all of this, I have only seen one ligitimate complaint: Faith's website is still taking membership payments, but is no longer being regularly updated; plus, both the inbedwithfaith.com website, and the inbedwithfaith.org website are advertising videos (which she no longer makes), and feature topless shots in the promotional material. This is arguably illegal, and Faith should sort it out. That is the only legitimate complaint on this entire thread.
Note, though, that only two people complained about the website. Those two individuals, however, were responsible for the majority of the anti-Faith flaming that took place (one of them has since been banned). The ire of these guys was directed rather specifically at the Freeones member 'inbedwithfaith' (who most of us believe to be the real Faith. Certainly, 'inbedwithfaith' knows Faith's history with a casual intimacy which suggests it is her).
Which means that everyone else either supported Faith anyway, didn't care enough to get involved, or didn't like her changes/decisions but simply moved on to pastures new. Most of us were on-side, and didn't flame her.
I don't believe Faith left Freeones becasue two people flamed her, I believe she would have left anyway - increasingly, she would reiterate in her posts that she was only here to set the record straight, and as a consequence of her overall move away from porn, I believe her relationship with Freeones reached a natural conclusion.
She has explained to us, as have webmasters, that she is not in control of the hundreds of images of her flying around the internet. Much of the work, she isn't proud of, and she's very focused on moving on.
In many respects, her 'fans' are not helping with this.
I think it would be a true test of Faith's followers if you could ask her if she wanted this discussion thread closed down, to be replaced with one that features only links to non-nude work, and if that was her desire, to then lobby the moderators to make it so.
She shared herself with the world, seemingly more out of naivety than natural desire, and we enjoyed her. Be grateful, and supportive.
Okay, here's the "explanation" ...
When an OCSM first appears, we're infatuated with her.
But in short order, we come to start making statements based on "expectations" from her. Especially if she did something in her past and does not want to do it any more or, in most cases, we want her to keep doing more, crossing what she says she will not.
After that, we start accusing her of various things, taking what she says as 'excuses' or 'you don't care about your fans' and other things.
After that, we turn her thread into one, huge conflagration -- a firestorm of posts, often inflamatory, towards the OCSM, her fans, her complaining fans, etc...
Then she just decides to be absent. But it doesn't stop there.
Several will go out of their way to say she tantalized us, that she took our money and ran (even if we don't directly say that), that we paid for a product and didn't get what we expected (which was discussed before, expectations). That she didn't care.
After that, it not only goes to the point where people are using such excuses, but is absolutely no expiration -- there is nobody admitting they are wrong or otherwise trying to atone, compromise, etc... You might get a few people asking her to come back, some arguments as the conflagration dies down. But there's not any peace or resolution at all.
And, just like in this thread, there is a final insult like, "oh, well, there's always X to fall back on" or praise of some other model, exploiting the situation to mention another model they like more. Even if people didn't mean it that way, it often comes off like that, and it definitely is exploiting the fact that she left (and is yet only another example of why).
Which is the final ending and "it's over."
