How does following work on twitter?

Is it like facebook, where each status update etc is shown on the same page?

I.e does the update of each person you are following come up one under the other?

I never got into Twitter. Not a celebrity person anyway.

Facebook is not great either but im not on it only because it was there before twitter.

Facebook for friends and family. Twitter for talking to pornstars. :yesyes:

Both are useful for different things. Facebook is a great way to get in touch with friends that you haven't seen in a long time and create albums for your friends/family to view. While Twitter is a great way to instantly get updates on subjects that interest you. So I chose "no preference."

I ain't taking part in Twitter, but it's good for naked shots of dem ladies. But Facebook is better because you can also get nice shots from there, even if they are non-nude, and I've got the feeling that celebs are interacting more with their fans there than on Twitter.

I much prefer Twitter. There is less clutter than Facebook, it's a much better source of sporting info, humour and random "WTF" stuff. It's a much easier way of stalking celebrities and getting in touch with people to let them know you appreciate their work. And personally there are a lot less boring "I just got up" and "I just made some toast" and "here are some boring pictures of my children" types on my Twitter feed.

But you have to have a Facebook don't you? Around my way the only ones that seem to use Twitter are the other wrestling fans or real geeks like me. The "normal" people do Facebook, they don't do Twitter.
