I think toons were invented to relieve people of everyday frustrations. To get away from reality for a little while. Not just children but adults too. (Adults just use them in a different way than children but it adds up to the same thing) One post says "Safe sex". I think they could only be beneficial on a psychological POV. I just love watching Wilma giving Fred a decent BJ... If only she could swallow the load!
