There's a saying that tells you "broken hearts will mend", but...they won't. Once something is broken, it can't be fixed. It can only be given the appearance or the illusion of being fixed (via glue, tape, whatever), but it doesn't change the fact that it's still broken.

FYI - My heart is held together with spit and wads of chewed up Fruit Stripe gum.

I hate those ''prolonging the agony'' type of breakups when your former woman wants to remain friendly and in touch and worse, still wants to screw from time to time. For instance, you'll see her at a party or wherever and she's crying and hanging all over you, you feel like yelling "Why did you want to break up in the first place ya spun broad, wasting two and a half years of our fuggin life ? !", but no ! your chemistry get's the better of you so you go back to your place to screw and while all of that is going on she looks you in the eye and says that she loves you.
