There was a guy at work that got a 17 year old Filipino girl or some place like that. He was the same nationality, she was really cute. He said he had to walk an Oxen 2-3 miles in the rain and mud to her poor village to give it to her father because cash was considered an insult. I think it only cost him $400 but I don't know how things turned out, I don't work near him any more.

I got about 100 of them from people I've met, all with bad endings.
Having lived in a part of the world with many sex tourists and lonely guys looking for love and heard their stories more times than I wish I had , I have come to these conclusions.
Russian girls are notorious for milking foreigners for every penny they can right up until the visa is approved, then they disappear.
If they do come to the states they usually suck the guy dry then move on.
Colombian girls don't want to leave Colombia, unless they are really truly in love with the foreigner,and that ain't too common. And even then most won't want to leave, it's just too nice there.
Many will use up a foreigner too, especially if he's a dumbass.
Thai girls also don't want to leave their country, but some will.
Interesting thing about thailand is that prostitution is so common and normal, you'd have to be careful what kind of mileage she has.
Also, the way they paint up their faces and their hair is to a point of ridiculousness. I guess because they all have the same bodies.
The safest bet is a phillipine girl, but even that usually does't work out.
From what I know, not just think.......the only way to really do it is to learn the language then spend some time in whatever country you choose.
Get to know the culture and the women, don't let anybody know what's in your bank account, and maybe you'll get lucky and meet a keeper.
It all boils down to time and timing.

What a crock of shit. The time and financial investment in such a thing could be spent in pursuing women the natural way. It doesn't matter who you are if you put the effort in you'll get a woman.

Nice post with some good information.
There is a stigma to it. I have a friend that is highly involved in the immigration and K-1 visa process. He tells me a lot of horror stories. But most of the things he tells me is how the man is the dickhead and turns into a monster once he gets the woman here.
I am sure that some women have ulterior motives if they are young and beautiful and marry a man that is older or average looking but a lot of the women are sincere. I have heard nothing but bad things about the Russian women, Hell the ones I have met that are already here are rude people. But some guys just like women that are from a different culture or seem exotic and that is what they are attracted to and seek them out. They have to look in the places where they are. Even stud boys like Tom Brady and Matthew McConaghey married foreign women. It's not like they are desperate.

I'm thinking the Russian ones have definitely earned their bad rep. Even the tourists here look at me like a potential John. No thanks. I'd rather be with a nice Filipina instead.

Not mail order brides but I've been noticing a number of cute Filipina nurses that hang around the Hollywood Bl/Western Ave area. Not selling their ass either. Think I'll start looking for excuses to have lunch around there. I've banged a few nurses in my day.
