Is porn money that great? I am always hearing about some performer having a disease. Is really worth it to end up herpes or HPV for the rest of your life for a few bucks while your young? Belladonna stated that 99% of all performers have Herpes. Does anyone have any facts about this? I know I'm kinda off topic.

With all the money that the porn industry earns/ makes a year (both professional companies and amateurs) I think they should at least help fund research on developing vaccines and cures for all STDs and HIV. If they do that then at least that can be at least one good image of the industry in the public eye.
Wow, that's a great point. Especially since the industry makes billions and billions of dollars. They should give back to research and cure foundations.
Good luck for her, wish her to do well. I do admit that a lot of these new scenes are getting very violent (choking females, stomping their heads while fucking them, spitting on their mouth, slapping) which is a totally tuned off for me, so I don't get those videos made by those producers.
Now not to beat up on these starlets, but Fresno have you seen most of the titles of the movies where they start in? such as Anal Whores, Big Butt Sluts, White Bitches, etc.. don't expect me to have some respect for someone who let themselves be degraded like that for money. Would you have respect for a guy that eats worms for just a dollar so he can be on tv? Or licks someone's armpits?
I'm all for someone moving on with their lives but I sense little reason or accountability in her testimonial. Penny Flame quit and isn't pointing any fingers in the process, as others have done before her. Take responsibility for your choices, etc.

Good for her. Before you guys go on a bashing spree against her for speaking out against the industry, it's interesting how when these girls leave, they all talk about the drug use, cruelty, etc. But then many of you get mad at them for talking about it and say, "it's not really like that"
My question is, how do you guys know that, unless you work in the industry; you don't know what its really like when the cameras go off? If all of them are saying it, obviously there is truth to it.
Oh well, I'm trying my darndest to stop watching porn altogether and I'm doing pretty good thus far. Not easy though.
Yea man sometimes I get a conscience crisis I think I'll stop soon. Probably cause I see the odd stills where the woman has a serious vacant look or her eyes is telling a unpleasant story. Its probably why guys hate shots or videos where a chick stares at the camera too much.

There really isn't an excuse for that one in 2010. It would be also hard to sell me on how bad the industry is if you you have 3 pages worth of links on Freeones. At what point do we just have to say someone is just being blatantly ignorant by continually putting themselves in positions where the consequence rate high? I'm not very sympathetic toward those who simply stack one bad decision on top of another.
