Erica Mena is an actress, author, fitness enthusiast, and model. Raised in the Bronx, New York and of Puerto Rican and Dominican decent, Erica was always in a performing arts class or activity as a child. Erica's boost of motivation came at the age of 15 and shortly after she was discovered during MTV's "Jennifer Lopez Lookalike" contest, which she won in 2003. It wasn't long after that Erica started creating her own name, gaining some serious recognition within the industry.
Erica Mena has been featured in magazines such as Latina, People, Playboy, Us Weekly, XXL, and Sports Illustrated. Her curvy physique was embraced by Playboy.com during a social media influencer spread which starred the Latin model. Erica has also been featured in print campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, as well as being a spokesmodel for various companies domestically and internationally.
Erica Mena starred in VH1's hit series Love & Hip Hop for four consecutive seasons which catapulted her into becoming a household name who captivated audiences everywhere, of all demographics. After she left Love & Hip Hop in 2015, her fans continued to skyrocket, taking her base into the millions.
Erica began branding herself by dedicating more time to her apparel line which she launched in 2014, taking it from t-shirts to ready-to-wear and everyday apparel. She then launched the her jewelry collection in summer of 2015. In June 2017, Erica guest-starred in the Thanksgiving episode of Aziz Ansari's hit Netflix series, Master Of None. This was Erica's first acting role, where she worked alongside Angela Bassett.
Following a very public breakup, Erica Mena decided to focus soley on herself and her family's mental and physical health. Outside of being an entrepreneur, she fell in love with the gym, eating clean, and loving herself. Erica Mena's hard work and persistence in this game has opened up many different business endeavors and she hopes to continue on her path of growth and success.
