Erdogan wins referendum.

Make it very, very clear that Europe isn't going to take refugees when Turkey inevitably becomes an Islamist shithole.

No more blaming colonialism, white supremacy, etc. They had a functional democracy with a reasonable measure of modernity, and they turned their backs on it. Non-Muslim countries warned them over and over again that this was a terrible idea. They did this to themselves. We must not bail them out when it ends in tears. No billions in aid from the infidels he hates, no asylum, nothing. You're on your own. Hopefully the Kurds will get their own country to escape this madman.

This is also the time for EU nations to revoke the citizenship of all the Turks in their country who voted yes. Put them all on planes to Turkey so they can live in the dictatorship they voted for. I'm sure Erdogan will welcome them with open arms.

Not to defend Erdogan but he is a lesser evil compared to Daech.

The proble is that refugee don't want to settle in Turkey and Erdogan don't wants to keeo the there so Europe is gonna have to negociate with him otherwise he wll open the west border of the cvountry and let all the refugees enter Greece. And in Istanbull it takes only a bridge to cross to go from Turkey to Greece.
And NATO is gonna have ot negotiate with Turkey as well since their role in the wae against Daech is crucial...

The West's pnly trustworthy ally in the Middle East is Jordan.

It's ISIS..not Daesh.

I'm not even concerned anymore with Daesh. North Korea concerns me more.

Americans are more likely to become a victim of MS-13 than ISIS or the NORKS.

Interesting times in Turkey, to be sure. Their built in fail safes against exactly this type of behavior by autocratic leaders has so far failed them sadly.

Well Turkey now has a dictator.
I don't have much to say but I really doubt it was a fair election, meaning it was rigged.
Before anybody demands proof I have none but I do have comon sense and I doubt the majority of Turks want Erdagon in power and in control of them.
It is what it is and I think the future for the Turkish people isn't very bright.

Fuck the middle east let them burn themselves to the ground.

Hey zee how ya been?
I agree with your overall point which I believe is for the US and others to stay out of the region.
A non intervention policy.
But I also don't think you see the big picture. Your view on the region and its people comes from the US news media.
Those countries and people have existed there for thousands of years before our country ever existed.
Pretty much all the ********, wars, misery, and destruction that has occured there in our lifetime is a result of foreign interference.
All the so called ****** groups who are making shitholes of country after country were created by and are armed and funded mostly by the USA.
They are mercenary armies being paid to fight and wreak havoc.

That is a fact that the world must face. Stop the funding and things would calm down over there pretty damn quick.

I am absolutely on board with staying out of other country's struggles. We also have to form alliances. Sometimes it's a simple mutual balance and sometimes it's more complicated.

As far as funding wars goes, everyone makes arms and sells them. Click below:

It's a market. If you don't get them from one country you'll get them from another. Sure USA sells the most but you can hardly call them the only store in the mall.

There are videos on Twitter that show people going into voting booths with voters to ensure they vote yes. And then there are videos that show AKP supporters putting a stamp for yes on a stack of ballots. The voting committee also said that ballots without a stamp would still be counted as a yes vote. Erdogan also declared victory before all the votes were counted. The referendum was rigged from the beginning.

I also saw a very weird video on Twitter. Someone asked a young girl about the referendum and she said: "Erdogan is passionate, kind hearted, strong and handsome." It is amazing how this Gollum looking, annoying voiced semi human could create a personality cult like this in Turkey. Literally half of the Turkish population is retarded.

It's ISIS, or Daesh if you're nasty, or just pompous.

And to think, Turkey is a NATO ally. How about we boot them out and take Ukraine in?

But before we boot them out lets do a swap. All the Turks living in other countries who voted yes for all the Turks in Turkey who voted no. That way all the yes voters can be happily oppressed together under the rule of Sultan Erdogan.
