I'm surprised no-one has started a thread already.
30 years ago, to the day, the greatest Rock n Roll star the world has ever known, died...aged just 42.
I can't claim to be a true Elvis fan,
but I certainly admit to a liking for his songs and an admiration for his showmanship and style.
His influence, both musically and culturally was/is immense...
Most, if not all the rock acts performing today, should light a candle in honour of his pioneering talent...
