E3 - What's got you interested?

Topic.

With Nintendo basically saying "screw it", there's a lot of room for others to take the spotlight.

Anything announced that has got you excited?

The new God of War, loved the previous games!
Other than that I have not seen much yet.

How did Nintendo say screw it anyway?

I'm curious if they are doing anything else with the 3DS, the WiiU and the new one I know nothing about.

I haven't watched any of it and have just caught some blurbs here and there. I've been working a lot and jacking off to porn in my spare time.

apparently, xbox one has a slimmer version, but if it's performance can't match that of the ps4 or the neo or neon or whatever version, what does it matter?

I'm looking forward to The Last Guardian. That game has been in development limbo for ages and at one point cancelled if I'm not mistaken. It's been brought back from the dead. Being meant for the PS3 in it's early years, don't expect any technical marvels, I'm just counting on the experience.

Nintendo has a habit over the last 4 years of not holding an E3 press conference and just throwing out a "treehouse" show. You can argue it doesn't make a difference, but I've always found press conferences more professional and to the point. They want to shock and awe you, but at the same time answer questions and tell us what we want to know. The Treehouse shows feel like they spent too much time & money on making the show (like those puppets or that Terminator spoof). Sure kids might find it funny, but it becomes unbearably long without substance. Case in point this year, their "show" was just about the new Zelda and Pokemon Sun/Moon, both which we knew about for a while now.

God of War. Yes. Definitely.

Last Guardian. If it ever comes out, it could be good, but like a ruined ejaculation they just keep teasing us without any actual payoff. Maybe Sony will commit to the Oct date at their conference today.

Watch_dogs 2 & Injustice 2 are the big announcements for me so far, along with that Telltale Games Batman. I guess I like hearing about games for the first time, like last year's Transformers Devastation.

Watched the Sony Conference on Youtube yesterday and this trailer caught my attention, no idea what the game is about but I do want to see more.

Check out all the collectors editions that are already out for the announced games! If you're even considering them you should get them ASAP as some sold out the same day!

...and yes, that's an actual 1:1 Titanfall helmet. I'm wondering if you could wear the Corvo mask.

Looking back, I thin it's also interesting to note what DIDN'T make the show. (Correct me if I'm wrong about any of these, or if you noticed games you wanted to see)

Big one was the FFVII remake from SquarEnix. I don't think anyone expected it to be release soon, but it would have been nice to tease us with something.

Ubisoft had lots of games, but no Assassin's Creed. I heard they were taking a break from the annual release to make sure they don't have any more disasters, which is good to hear.

Personally I was disappointed to hear nothing from Activision/Blizzard about a sequel to Transformers: Devastation. It was just a year ago they announced that game & it came out just months later, so if there was a sequel it would have made sense to announce it here.

Yes, where is FF7? Zelda, however, looked good. More RPG-like, and I love the hybrid look between Twilight Princess and the cell shading animation of Wind Waker.

Link jumping is just so strange.

god of war looks like a tomb raider type game. i watched the trailer 3 times i was loving it

I liked everything about it until I read it has a equipment damage mechanic in it's gameplay. After all this time why do developers feel the need to add that to games? I don't know anybody who has ever liked weapon upkeep in a game.

Other than that it seems awesome though.

Yeah, it looks good, but I don't see why everybody is gushing over it so much.
I really think Ninty relied on putting their eggs in one basket too much. They did nothing for non-Zelda players, and as beautiful as it may look, the WiiU is still vastly underpowered by Current Gen.

For the EMPEROR!!
Mass Effect Andromeda, although the 'reveal' was very disappointing.
I was looking forward to the new God of War, but I'm not really sure how I think about this new game/story change. I'll wait till I see some more before I decide how I feel about it.

Haven't really seen any others really.

Do we have any actual solid data on the Nintendo NX? All I see is a sea of rumours.
