Anders forced himself to buy some dice from Bob the Diceman.

Got a bronze coloured metal set and some D10 with the 10 written out on them.

All in all, like Petra said, it was a great trip.

oh oh, also, since the 29th of jan, ive been tabletop gaming a year exactly! pretty cool.

I think I'm the only one who managed to make my save to resist Bob's charms. Though I was eyeballing some d10s...but since I went kind of nuts with those books I didn't buy anything else.

Anders also bought a Dice rolling box so a.) he won't hurt my coffee table when he's rolling the cat killers and b.) if he has to borrow more of my dice, they won't end up under the couch or in a cat's food dish (don't know why exactly, but the big fat ass cat likes picking things up and putting them in his food dish).

We did manage to cart home enough apple and pear cider to give a midget liver failure.

I have one of the really large steel d20 dice. I save it and bust it out when I feel like blowing through all the miniatures on the table like bowling pins. :1orglaugh

haha! no kidding! i dont know if id want a metal set, i do have cats..

id need one of those boxes i suppose.

also, i prefer my d10 to have an actual 10 on it. i hate when it just says 0 like in all the chessex sets. its so anticlimactic to roll a 0 instead of a 10.

Did you see the book protectors/covers by the same guy who was selling that leather accessories to the left of the entrance door? I am definately going to give him a ring later. I would want to have a leather protector just to make myself look Don in front of all the girls. Yea, I saw them. That's the booth Anders bought his dice rolling box from.

I was tempted by the folders, but unfortunately, I had to go and buy all those books.

I like my d10s to have a zeros on them. That way people are not wondering what number it is for that short amount of time they have to think about it when something like a 30 and a 10 is rolled. It's easy enough to remember that two zeros represent 100.

The pregnant one was living in a cottage that was constantly infested with a swede, there was much fun to be had there.

Yea, we lost 1 swede and gained 4 Americans.

And somehow the liquor consumption was about the same as we only had the swede. Though, I have to admit, the cidar cum beard from the very slushy frosty jack cidar was hilarious. I'm sure some poor cleaning person is still trying to clean the windows and curtain.

New book arrived in the post today. Cost me £10 and that was including the shipping and handling. Impressed. This book is really funny, has some good ideas, not a rules book as such, but when I saw it at conception I was impressed by the quality and had to get it.

I finally got my dice sets today. That's five more. I think I have about 27 sets of dice along with a couple dice bags full of things I have got in the pound of dice deals in the past. Once set I accidentally got the wrong dice and a set I was sort of disappointed in how the color mix turned out in them. Chessex needs to reject more of those dice that don't have a good color mix in multi-color dice. Two sets I was surprisingly pleased with though.

I also got the flip mat.
