Dreamcast

eh i didnt like dreamcast as much as the 64 but it was a cool system i think if sega would came out with that before they came out with Saturn they would be in bussiness still

PowerStone was real fun. Perhaps they should start thinking about a remake or continuation on one of the next line systems.

I've never played PowerStone, but I've heard great things about it. The Dreamcast was, and still is a great console. Games like Dead Or Alive 2 and Crazy Taxi looked so much better on the DC than they did on the PS2. I guess it was just a bit ahead of it's time.

i liked dream cast i played the dead or alive series on that and loved it. sonic was pretty good on it too

Cool! My first Freeones post!

Powerstone is my second favorite game on DC next to Sword of the Beserk. It's a hack 'n slash based on the anime. Play it if you get a chance - good, bloody fun.

pitino

THE reason to buy Dreamcast : "Shenmue"

I used to have a DreamCast and I agree that it was a good system. Too bad they went belly-up.

Now fellas.....aren't we forgetting Jet Grind Radio?
I didn't see sequels of Shenmue and Power Stone selling into the millions of copies like Jet Set Radio Future did.

Zombie revenge and dynimite cop2 were awesome games. Hydro Thunder is one of my favorite racing games.

I wasn't' a fan of Dreamcast. They had some really good sports games, but my biggest problem was that crap ass controller, plus the memory cards (at least for the sports games) took almost the entire card just to save, leaving no room on it for any other games.

I made a thread a long time ago about why the Dreamcast failed, and there was actually some good discussion on it.

I saw a documentary special about the Sega Dreamcast on G4TV, as it was a cool console that 1st implemented online access with a phone jack plus the system was used to create Microsoft's Xbox. I played Soulcalibur, Street Fighter III: the Third Strike, Dead or Alive 2, Power Stone 1 & 2, Marvel vs Capcom1 and Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves. :D

SF8
