Only reason is for the most part African American GOP members are the ones that sell our race out and agree when sterotypes are brought out about African Americans.

Being critical doesn't make you racist. Being critical because of someone race does.
This may burn some people's eyes because of what show Dr. Carson was on, but if one was to believe the video was not altered, it could be considered a primary source.

I am so f'ing tired of people calling Obama the worst president ever just because he is a democrat and I'm so tired of people calling others names just because they do not endorse their own ideology.
Call Dr. Carson inexperienced, naive, and having shown now leadership qualities and I"ll respect your opinion. Call him an Uncle Tom and you're being racist.
He is an intelligent thoughtful man. He has shown the ability to change his opinions when offered a different perspective which is more than I can say for most.
I find this statement to be extremely pessimistic, negative, full of fear of what is not their nature, and racist:

I'll say this for my personal experience with Freeones, which I understand is not a random sampling, when I say something negative about Republicans I don't really get any flack. The second I say something positive about a Republican or negative about a Democrat it is like I just crossed the lines of all that is logical and scientific.
I do not agree with Dr. Carson's view on a good number of issues, but it is the issue I object to. I don't object to his race.

A guy who compared Obamacare to slavery, homosexuality to pedophilia and bestiality, who said "he does not have enough faith" to believe in evolution, who stated that homosexuality is a choice, who said he thinks Obama might declare martial law to stay in office after 2016 is not center-right.
If Carson's center-right, then Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney are liberals ! And Obama's a commie...

Off course Obama's not a commie. But when you think he's one, then Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush are libs and Carson's center-right.
My interpretation of these comments is when Dr. Carson is speaking from his beliefs and perhaps not his intellect. I do like him overall, but I don't think he would make a good president because of these kinds of statements.
I think he mostly rephrased himself. He has apologized for poor wording on several occasions. Again, shows either lack of experience or lack of ability to seriously be considered for president, in my opinion. However, in some of his statements I see him re-thinking his stance, which seems genuine and refreshing.

He might be the Rick Perry of 2016. Yeah, in 2012 Rick Perry was much more experienced than Carson is now but Carson seems to have the same tendency to punch himself in the face, to be the worst threat of his own campaign.

I find him an interesting guy. Had the pleasure of sitting in one of his speeches at a conference. Based on that I paid some attention to him. I still find him a sincere and intelligent man. I don't think he is presidential material.
I don't find Rick Perry to be sincere at all.
I'm not seeing anyone in the field of Republicans that I would vote for. Pete King is delusional and talks of a potential run in veiled terms. If he ran and I wasn't interested in another candidate I might flight the switch for him. It doesn't matter, I live in NY, so my electoral votes will go to the Democratic Candidate anyway. Not sure who I want at this point...Warren? hmmm...not sure. I guess I have time, and like I said...it is almost pointless for a New Yorker.

Dr. Carson is a fairly bright fellow. I believe he is a man who was brought up in a strong faith background. My opinion is that he is subject to what is popularly called, cognitive dissonance. This would make me question is judgments and ability to lead.
However, only knowing you from your postings, Dr. Carson does come off considerably brighter than you do. You rail about some beliefs and use profanity as if he has insulted you or if a person supporting him as insulted you. I have absolutely no issues with you doing this kind of thing, but my interpretation of this is that you are behaving as many people with lower intelligence tend to. Perhaps you are just having fun. As I said, I don't know you.
I've heard clips of Dr. Carson speaking about his Creationism beliefs and he thinks that either Evolution or Creationism requires a leap of faith at some point. I tend not to agree with this. I haven't seen him actually say that he believes the earth is only 6,000 years old. I have read a bunch of people stating he said this. I really haven't looked too hard, but if anyone has a link they could share, I'd be interested. Admittedly, I'm as baffled by that belief as many are.
It is FUCKING insulting to humanity to believe in 2015 that the world is only 6000 years old. Sorry but it is. For the pastor of a southern baptist church I have no issue with it, but as the president of the united states? fuck no. That's outright retarded. He is a creationist, he said he lives his life every day by the teachings of the bible and believes every word of it. If you believe as he does, you HAVE to believe the earth is 6000 years old.
