dont do this

i read this board pretty much every day.
just now i was looking for a thread i was posting in a few days ago and started looking in the older pages.

just when i found that thread it struck me (from the time stamp) that it was one week ago! time just goes by, especially these little periods like weeks or weekends.

i **** it when this strikes you from small things like this :(

I'm sorry, but your point is?
that small things like this just indicates how fast time goes, even if one week is not a very long time, it adds up.
i think it's depressing when time goes faster than you thought it did or wanted it to. but i am very ***** and unlucky tonight, so i would probably find king kong sad right now :(

yes, you would be surprised how quickly a year goes by ... It's like yesterday when i sit in front of a turkey waiting to be carved and eaten ... oh ****, that was yesterday ... :1orglaugh
no really, i get your point and it is true, people don't realise how old they are until they look at their **** growing up to become worldinhabitants. Hopefully you will once realise that you did a good job and that your **** are openminded , loving and caring people ...

I know its a tragedy, one day you join a message board, so full of hopes and dreams, refer a few noobs, they grow up get ****** have a few noobs of their own, while you sit back, massive post count and all your regrets pilled up in your PM inbox,

From Wikipedia

Among prominent philosophers, there are two distinct viewpoints on time. One view is that time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe, a dimension in which events occur in sequence. Time travel, in this view, becomes a possibility as other "times" persist like frames of a film strip, spread out across the time line. Sir Isaac Newton subscribed to this realist view, and hence it is sometimes referred to as Newtonian time.
The opposing view is that time does not refer to any kind of "container" that events and objects "move through", nor to any entity that "flows", but that it is instead part of a fundamental intellectual structure (together with space and number) within which humans sequence and compare events. This second view, in the tradition of Gottfried Leibniz and Immanuel Kant, holds that time is neither an event nor a thing, and thus is not itself measurable nor can it be traveled.

(ok, methinks this is getting deep)

Hmmm.. not sure I get it.

Tell you what.. I'll come back and read this, next week..
I'll have had time to think about it, then.

Were all going to die one day, who really gives a **** what we do in the time we are here. Its all pointless anyway.......

I'd say that it is a little bit of both. Consider the Einstein model of General Relativity, where the perception of times is based upon the law of gravity, which varies depending on the circumstances. Also if you want to take it a step further and consider some of the quantum mechanics of time, it appears that all objects are in equal proportion relative to each other. It's from a limited physical interaction with time that we perceive our notion of time flow that is mostly just a philosophical position.

Take for example a fast moving pendulum or a spinning coin. from a two-dimension POV it would appear as a constant fixed point, not even as a round object, let alone one that was in motion. But from a third-dimension POV it would appear as a series of independently moving points. To relate those points to each other and to the observer, you would need a fourth-dimensional POV, which is time. That is why time appears to us to be a constant fixed point, as a present. We have been able to expand that notion out a little bit and imagine the flow of time in parallel dimensions, the past and the future. If we could continue to see from more advanced viewpoints, the 6, 7th, and so on dimensions, we would see that our notion of time is just as limited and inaccurate as the differentiations that we are able to recognize in space between the dimensional shifts.

Every so often it's good to turn off the computer and go to Costa Rica for a little while to recharge the batteries and balance the Zen in your life. Things will be pretty much be the same when you get back.

I know what you're saying here. I recently had some time off the board after my move, did some she-males, indulged in a little ****-eating, you know normal leisure activities. When I come back, I see all these fruity newbs on the board I never heard of! But through the grace of God, I also noticed that just about all the old homos I remember are still here too!!! After all, homos is where the heart is! Thanks to all my present and future Freeones pals, you sure make a tasty bunch of men (and a few women too ;))!

NB: No disrespect meant to any out there!

Cool ****, so are you like a master chef or summin? I'm interested in chefistry or whatever the fuck its called...

I'm sorry, but...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ CHEFISTRY!!! :1orglaugh

FYI - It's called culinary arts, just so you know.

Uh, I'm a sous chef, which is the person who is 2nd in command, so-to-speak. I run the kitchen, but I'm not the top dog...that would be the executive chef, who is my boss.

Yeah I know who a sous chef is. Fuck. Im ***** ya know, so chefistry sounded funny to me.

So what type of restaurant does yo bitch ass work at? LOL

Right on. I'd love to have some real Italian food for once rather than the usual ****** restaurant type stuff.

So how long were you in school for?
