For the EMPEROR!!
Another thread about rep, BMH? Either you really do care about it, or you're trying to start a ****-fight.

You should stop worrying about it so much .. and then You Might actually get some rep. :D

I'm sure everyone has different criteria, but I think it's nice to get rep because it means someone else appreciates what you had to contribute. The number of points don't matter, it's the thought that counts, IMO.

Cindy, put it very well. I also try to leave a message (or at least a smilie) when I rep someone.

Of course it does!

It even shows the quality of your mind :rofl2:

Thats why my rep count comes up as 'Zero' :kettle:

^^ Sorry to break up the back-and-forth, but I just wanted to add my :2 cents:

Rep, in my view, demonstrates appreciation and respect for others on the board. If an OP or OCSM post something I agree with or posts something that makes me laugh (or posts hot photos) or makes a very intelligent point, I show them my respect with rep. That is how it should be, but for most of the cases, members give out rep and take it away for no reason. I am clearly the prime example of that. Many members give rep because a post is good, as there are many members on here who post really good comments. However other members will just give out green and red rep freely. many of the members on here have rep that is way higher than it should be for that very reason.
Rep should define the quality of a members posts, but in truth, that will never happen. Especially on this forum

I start threads like this as a small debate sometimes or even as a joke. Some people get angry by them though, particularly the post below VVV
