Does downloading Porn on a Dial-Up connection.

Hey Everyone.

I thought I would throw this subject out there to see how many are still in the same boat.

While others have ADSL and Broadband/Cable to download larges amounts of porn quickly, some like myself are still stuck with a crappy dial-up connection.

My question is how have you gone about getting your porn fix, when left with a dial-up connection (56k)?

Myself, I have to rely on pic sets or just a handle of downloaded free 20second previews to get by.

What about you? Have you found a way to get large files? Do you just find a contact with faster net speed to download porn for you and send it to you via CD... or you stuck in the same boat like me

can't say that i can help you that much. when i had dial-up i would just download from some of the download programs and just wait. its sucks having to wait but once you get just don't delete it, cause then you wouldn't have to wait next time. you could also try downloading while you are not at the computer, like when you are in asleep.

I try to download when I am away from the computer, but I am on a stupid dial-up plan where if you are idle for so long they can cut you off... also if you are on longer than 4 hours straight and it's busy they can cut you off.

That's what mucks me up, especially with this lousy 33.6k modem.

It hasn't been long since I got broadband, and trust me you will never look back!
I'm quite sure you can get hold of a program, that is supposed to speed up downloading if you are on dial up, I'll try and search for it, and let you know.

When I was on dial-up it used to time-out every 2hours without fail, really pissed me off :crash: . I used to mainly download photo sets and shorter clips, not a lot else I could do at the time.
There's not a lot more that you can really do about it until you get the chance to get yourself a better connection. :dunno:

pay a little more money and get cable or dsl. uneless they dont offer it in your area whice sucks. its worth the extra money.

Not sure of the speed-up will work with my 33.6k modem, but I'll give it a shot.

Been doing temp work of late, so needing a full tim job, so I can afford the $80 a month for unlimited broadband... not going to broadband yet while the $$$ are a little low!

I have dial-up because I live in a ruralish area where that is all there is. I usually stick to looking at pictures. I like them better anyhow. I am sure once I get a high-speed connection I won't ever want to go back.

best thing to do is upgrade to cable or dsl.

if u cant... leave ur comp. on all night while downloading a fair sized file... should be ready when u wake up the next day

just look at picture sets...20sec clips aren't worth downloading (and waiting)

get some $ and upgrade to something faster...
