My Penis Is Dancing!
I have done it on a lot of mine.
Some are pretty good. I liked the commentaries of the cast on the LOTR extended box sets.
Then there were The Family Guy box sets, where it seemed that people would come in and out of the studio while the commentaries were being taped. It was a bit bizarre.

No. I can't concentrate on two things, hearing the comments and watching the movie at the same time. It's like subtitles - They're annoying

No

If i watch a movie or a show, I whant to hears what the characters are saying, not other people chatting...
Mostly those coments are boring, like :
-Hey, look a this wall : I love its color
-It's called "blue"
-Really ?
-Yeah !
-Wow ! Blue... That's a cool color. I love blue walls.

I've watched a few. The two that come to mind immediately are Martin Scorsese's commentary on Fellini's La Strada and the commentary that put the events of The Dreamers in their historical context.

^*^ The This is Spinal Tap commentary is in the same vein, all three actors stay in character throughout and it's great.

persona non grata
I usually watch (or maybe i should i say "listen to") the commentaries on tv-series, but not as often on movies.
