honestly it's all about training and if i remember correctly (of domesticated dogs) the rottweiler has the highest bfq followed by german shepherd then pit bull (i think all 3 are pretty close tho)...however pit bulls have the lock jaw thing which makes their bite so potentially dangerous

Actually a lot of dogs will bite and hold on to there target - and yes technically thats not a "lock jaw" and I'm sure I wouldn't be debating it if it happened to me... In Oz pit bulls are also called pig dogs because people use them to hunt feral pigs. They go for the throat and hang on so they don't get gored, just like a lion will when they bite the whole mouth and nose of a Cape Buffalo. ..... ain't the doco channels great. p.s IMO Brady Barr is a tool.
