To anyone who wants to bring in religious dogma into this discussion: DON'T..this is not a discussion about religion, rather it is a discussion about HOW religion (in particular religious conservatives) is impacting our nation as a whole. I brought up this Jesus reference as an ironic gesture to the fact that these religious cocksuckers probably wouldn't be able to recognize Jesus...let alone elect him for president. That's not even considering that Jesus would probably be extremely ashamed of how his original cult turned out.

There would be a host of problems if Jesus Christ ran for president. First, He was not born in the US and his birth was, by definition, unnatural. The right wing attack machine and Fox news would play up He must be a bastard because Joseph was not his biological father. Next they would accuse him of being a subversive anti-business communist because he threw the money changers out of temple. Then they would question why he does not use His real name. The word Christ is Greek so it could not possible be the real name of a Jew from first century Israel. Why, they would ask, did He pick a curse word for his name - Jesus Christ

in first place, you are nobody to tell if America is a continent or not. In fact, there's several approaches to this item. Do you know wikipedia? guess not.

Of course I know wikipedia. I just figured that since this is an English-speaking board that it is best to use the definition of "continent" that is used by the English-speaking world. If you check the wikipedia, that means that America is NOT a continent. This 7-continent model, according to Wikipedia is used in Europe and English speaking countries. Which make up AT LEAST 95% of the membership of this board. And I didn't say that the term "American" is accurate, I just mentioned that very many people use it and it is easily the most popular way to describe someone from the US. You can continue to get pissed off about that term if you want, but is it really worth it?
