I love marmite! It is delicious on toast with sliced tomato:D But then I've been eating it since I was a little girl so I suppose it is an acquired taste. It is just really salty though, so you should like it if you like salty snacks.

I love it. I would love to meet a bird who would let me smear it all over her tits. It's my lifelong dweam. . .

Actually, he is right. It would be fantastic to see it spread on a beautiful woman. Do you think this is something you would consider Bella?

Thanks larss. The never-ending competition between the commonwealth states...Australia vs England vs New Zealand...in cricket, rugby, netball, etc. Back in the 80s, I visited an Australian store in LA...called the Koala Blue where they specialized in retailing mostly Aussie imports. I asked the staff about the marmite and vegemite on their store shelves. That was their quote. Now these days, Koala Blue are only selling wines & confectionaries.

They were wrong.Marmite has been made in the UK since 1902 and was exported to (among other places) Australia.During WW1 supplies to Australia were cut off and Australians tried making a substitute. Eventually they perfected a product and called it Vegemite. It's rather less flavoursome than Marmite but generally very similar.

:1orglaugh

I've never had it because it's pretty much impossible to find here in the states, but a couple friends that I know had it(Vegimite, which is the same thing but just called Marmite in Europe) and they both say that it's pretty much and abomination and absolutely atrocious.I would like to try it though, just for the hell of it.

Nope, vegemite & marmite are two entirely different spreads. both very nice on toast! can also be used in soups or gravy's to add a little bite.

They are both yeast extracts and Vegemite was the result of an attempt to find a substitute for Marmite. They are different but that's in the detail rather than in what they are.

LOL! Maybe, I'd have to see what colour it looks like on my skin in photos. I did a chocolate sauce shoot once and decided not to use the photos because it totally looked like something MUCH less tasty:eek: It took all the sexiness out of the photos.

Marmite often appears black so it is a possibility I suppose;)
