Do You Guys Think Mitt Romney Is Running For President Again?

As one on the more Conservative side of the fence here I certainly hope not. He's damaged goods and the memory of him fizzling out remains. The Republicans are in major trouble if this is the best they have to offer.

The media lapdogs really worked him over last time. I think he's done.

I keep seeing him on TV over and over lately. Ace, would you want him to run? Whoever gets the nomination is running against the massive Hillary Clinton political machine with all that money and media advantage. The GOP needs a strong candidate with vision and leadership skills.

Hilldebeast's "machine" couldn't beat an obscure, know-nothing, 1st term Senator from Illinois in 2008. If she makes it past the primaries anyone with common sense will destroy her on her "accomplishments." So, no. That twat doesn't worry me.

I don't think he should run again but if he did I would vote for him just for having tenacity. But it funny you mention presidential elections because this morning I woke up from a dream where I was telling President HW Bush that his son(Jeb) should run in 2016.

I generally vote democrat, but I'd seriously consider voting for Romney over Clinton. The one thing the GOP must continue to do is choose moderates (like McCain and Romney). Yeah they both lost, but it was still the right move, strategically. They have no chance if they nominate someone who's hard right.

If he does run I hope he picks a better running mate than Paul Ryan or Sara Palin.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I heard on the local news (Cleveland), one of our Senators is possibly going to run. His name is Rob Portman. I have voted for him, and I would vote for him as a presidential candidate, provided he doesn't suddenly become all churchy on us.

Sheesh, a Mitt Hilary race. That is a "I don't care" and "I hope she is never president" race.

Can't we do better than this? Please!

McCain. He would of beat Obama in 08 if did not pick that dumb Alaskan. Moderates went with Obama because of McCain's age and just in case he died in office that dumb bitch would of been in charge.

I tend to agree with this assessment, but John McCain was a different candidate when he lost the 2000 GOP primary to George W. Bush, too bad McCain didn't win that primary, because in the general election either way, McCain or Gore, the world would be a better place today.

And as far as I see that candidate does not exist. Another crop of religious loons and corporate front men.

Nicely said. A neutered goat would have been an improvement over W's administration.

Will happens to Hillary if Joe Biden decides to run?

Mitt, the empty suit. I can't see the GOP dressing him up any differently. And that's what they will probably parade out there on convention day.

The short answer is no. There are a lot of people that are more than capable of getting us out of this mess. The experts look for someone who "looks" presidential. It reminds me of a dog show. You look at the breeds, and people set up a standard. But when you look at the dogs that actually work, they normally would not meet that standard or would have some "disqualifying" features. One example I can give was Sen. Simon when he ran (showing my age). People liked his platform but said he didn't have look that a president should have. So really until we change the thought process of the person that voters sees every morning when they brush their teeth, we will have more of nothing. This applies to the GOP Party, Democratic Party, Green Party, Office Party, House Party or any other political group.

Good Lord, I hope they let crazy Uncle Joe run. He'll hand the election to whomever looks less incompetent.

If there's one thing I'll give Romney over Obama, it's that he's obvious with his corporatism. It's like the Democrats and Republicans; they both give you big government, but at least one is honest about it.

That minor honesty in either example isn't enough to get my vote though.
