It's just the reverse in Texas amigo. City streets are so busy that you either drive with the flow or get pushed into the bayou (that's "creek" to you Midwesterners). Cops leave you alone as long as the traffic flow is undisturbed. Besides, I'm not talking about going 60 in a 30 zone through some residential neighborhood. Going a bit over the limit on regular city thoroughfares is what I meant. On rural interstates and tollways, 75 or 80 is the normal speed limit and if you stay in the right lane, you cruise right through. And my car is in excellent condition even though it belongs to my company. I haven't had a speeding ticket in over 20 years.
