Do you do a pointless job?

there are lots of jobs that exist that could be refered to as pointtless, and eliminated, because we dont need them to survive

anyone in the movie or porn industry

anyone in the music industry

anyone on tv

mail carriers, because we could justb all use email

anyone who works at a restaurant, if every single person in the world cooked every meal at home

athletes

etc etc etc

Come on now. Unless we are going back to Colonial times we cannot do away with everything.

Teachers need a yearly test and they should be graded on the results of those they teach.

They are thinking about doing away with cursive writing.

The only truly pointless jobs exist in government. In private industry, any job that is superfluous is eliminated fairly quickly. That's NOT to say that all public sector jobs are pointless....far from it...but that's the place there they exist.

oh...BTW mail men dont deliver **** such as car parts, a delivery driver for fedex or whatever delivers it, so we can still get rid of mailmen, but not the fools who drive around in those trucks with no passenger side door

As someone that has struggles to get work for a long time now I wish I had a pointless job, or almost any job, at this time. It beats not having anything.

Your time is the most precious thing you have. Giving it to an employer to complete some menial task is never a good option!



Unemployment is a great opportunity to confront things some people brush aside their whole lives (because they're too busy doing menial jobs which drain them of their energy).

The job i had up until a couple of yaers ago wasn´t pointless (i manufactured prototypes for an inventor), but the things i have done since is just meaningless bullshit that just exist to keep the open unemployment numbers down.
