I'd guess its harder to leave it behind now as things online are there for a prolonged time and can turn up in searches, while back in the old days if a girl just did magazine shoots or videos then stopped it would be easier to leave it behind.

And, although I agree that you don't see girls doing it as often in Western Europe, I'd venture to say that girls doing porn solely for the quick cash is just as prevalent in Easter Europe as here - if not more so. Very true. If you're in it for the money, you won't have a very long career and it's more likely that you'll regret what you did. I'm glad that I didn't get into hardcore until I was in my 30s because I wasn't ready before and I possibly would have made some mistakes when I was younger. Yes, porn pays but I also do it b/c I enjoy sex/masturbation and feel totally comfortable in front of the camera.

Very good point... My husband and I were swingers before we started our site, and most of our swinging is still off camera, we just get to share some of our fun on camera. Our families know about our lifestyle, and it's accepted..

On occasion, I come across these interviews with these old porn stars like Christy Canyon, or Ron Jeremy and they swoon about the good old days of porn. I don’t think 30 years from now you will see porn stars from 2014 doing that. Most of them will realize that they’re lucky to escape that lifestyle with their lives, or will be so freakishly weird you wouldn’t be able engage them in normal conversation.
I only hesitate to out and out condemn porn, because I can at least remember back to those days of Christy Canyon and Ron Jeremy when porn didn’t seem so abusive, violent, and creepy.
Now as then it’s the women that are the stars, and some of them are obviously attractive, but the difference is now most of the male actors, producers and directors come off as lechers and perverts.
Even more disturbing is that vast majority of modern porn comes off as a choreographed rape or a molestation. Complete turn off for me, but I guess I’m not who they are marketing it to, and I cringe to think who their target market is.
When you start factoring in the human-sex trafficking factor into the mix it definitely tips the scale for me to the condemn side but again I hesitate to do that. I just worry about the sliding scale of what we categorize as freedom of expression in this country. Where do we draw the line as what is freedom to express yourself and what is just wrong.

Well was going to try and chime in here but looks like most of it has been said. I think the ones who get tricked into stuff they are not ready for end up regretting it. I think it's pretty natural to regret it, at least on some level, because you change as you get older.
For example, when you find a husband, then want a kid, maybe you don't want to stay the girl that was doing nasty things all over internet.

I think a girl like Clara Morgane isn't really regretting it. She seems to be comfortbale with it and just moves on.

It's easy to say "they should think before", and I agree, it's something you need to think through. But it's not only porn.
