Dmc 5 (dante!!!)

DMC5 is finally on the way. It looks awesome especially the graphics but what the hell have they done to Dante.



Can't wait to see more and to see why Dante is so different now in terms of looks anyway. It may be a new character all together though because those guns didn't look like Ebony and Ivory and he didn't have the sword Rebelllion.

Actually I hear it is a reboot of the series and it is just DMC not DMC 5. My bad.

Can't say I agree with the new direction of DMC, seems a bit Hollywood-ified. Heck I thought a pair of black and white guns held by the son of Sparda is Ebony & Ivory, this dude don't look like no demon child. Bunch of new weapons too but no sword. Don't you usually reboot a franchise when it is struggling? Always thought that DMC did pretty well.

What is up with Capcom? Are they purposely trying to destroy two of their great franchises? First with RE5 and now this... God damnit

I never played DMC4, but I was disappointed with DMC3. I liked that it was hard but I don't want to have to repeat one mission over and over to get stronger in order to beat the next one. I still think the first one was the best


Personally, I'm excited for Shadows of the Damned (It's being made by the head developers of No More Heroes and Resident Evil)

People complained mercilessly about DMC4 and the director didn't even have a story for a sequel to that. Plus Vergil was dead.

A reboot was inevitable. I see now he does have Ebony and Ivory again though.

I was not happy with 4 at all. They need to stick a fork in this franchise and move on...

Actually it is a origin story so its before even DMC 3 apparently.

^ Its dyed. Its supposed to be based on the punk movement in England, whenever that was since the developer is English.

Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, is developing it. Capcom is just overseeing, so to speak.

Capcom has since explained that DmC will be a prequel featuring Dante in his younger years as he comes to grips with his heritage
