Discussing News Regarding ****** Topics (please read)

There have been some members in the past who have questioned our policy about our ****** topics and not even allowing news regarding these ****** topics to be discussed. After some discussion, we're willing to ease our rules a little bit to allow discussions about valid news topics as long as you guys show you can handle it.

Before starting or participating in a thread about racial discrimination, ******lity, ******, sexual assult or ****, make sure you read and understand the following guidelines or you'll end up getting yourself ****** off this board:

- Absolutely no discussion on ***** pornography or ******** models and ***** films. I don't care if it's the most talked about news event of this century, it's not going to happen.

- If you find a news article about racial discrimination, ******lity, ******, sexual assult or **** and you want to make a thread, you MUST include the link to the news article.

- The discussion must be kept to the news article. Think about what you're posting before you hit submit. If you make completely inapproperiate comments, even if you're trying to be funny, the post will be deleted and the approperiate action will be taken by the moderators.

If these threads can not be kept on topic and discussed in a reasonible manner, then we will go back to the original board rules with these topics being ******. Period. Anyone that starts them or participates in them will be ******, no questions asked.

As always, if you're in doubt of something being permissable on this board please ask.

well Ok, sounds good... but do you think that it was a good idea to put the ****** topics as tag searches for this thread?

seems to me that if we aren't supposed to talk about them, then people probably shouldn't be doing searches for them either. I dunno.

Personally, I'm on the fence about allowing them in the first place. But if people do tag searches I want them to see this post so they think about what they post first.

I didn't include ***** because it rarely comes up in the news. It would have to be taken on a case by case basis.

As far as the ****** slaughter goes, while butchering ******* for a movie is distasteful, I highly doubt this is the only ****** slaughter for a movie in the era.

I vote to just keep it off this board. Why does consensual sex and consenual porn always have to be not enough? People always have to take it to some level that it shouldn't have to go.
I'm here for the girls who smile at the camera in a "this is who I am" kind of way (Erica Campbell, Eva Angelina, etc.) Not for the creeps who depress and disgust me and make me wonder if an asteroid wiping us all out would be a bad thing.
Sorry for the half formed thoughts. It's 8:20 AM as I write this and I have a full day ahead of me. I might post a more eloquent diatribe later, but probably not.

Why does consensual sex and consenual porn always have to be not enough?

Because not everyone is here for porn,porn,and nothing but porn 24/7.Some of us are here for discussion of current events,politics,sports,or just to bullshit.The fact that there's so much great porn is icing on the cake.

FreeOnes is first and foremost for porn sure,but that doesn't mean that nothing else can be addressed.I for one, am sick of certain topics that keep repeating themselves over and over.

The easing of the rules isn't so that people can post whatever they like about the topics, though obviously people will always push those boundaries. But, if someone finds a great article about the ***** of women in the military and make a thread about it, they're not going to get ******. Technically, we could have ****** anyone that discussed the assault of Rhianna since it falls under the ***** of women.

See where I'm going here?

An easing of those particular rules? Excellent. Too many topics with great debate potential closed because the story was against *OLD* board policies. If it happened in real life, it can be discussed in FreeOnes life. Debating it isnt condoning it.

Glad to have a few less eggshells to walk on. I look forward to some fresh controversy to discuss on here.

Um... also, can we have a few less ******/asterisk'ed words too? Honestly, what is up with banning the fox-elip-sus word? Places like R!pidshare and all that, sure sure... but like I just did, there's an easy way around it. Soo.. what is the point, again?

The way i understand it is that you basicly have to ask a moderator every time you start a thread if it´s ok or not unless you can provide a link to some "interesting" article. I guess i can forget about starting threads about the (great) movie Hard Candy, The New York Ripper, or any of Dario Argento´s movies as those threads inevitably will lead to discussion about ********ia and ***** of women.

yeah so what? how many threads do we really have about those things? the one that you mentioned before about CH is the only one that comes to mind- and that movie may be disgusting and in bad taste, but as far as I know it doesn't involve ******* sex acts which is what the ban is about.

also as far as I know there has been movies and not porn that did feature **** scenes and discussion of those in a general way (and not in specific detail of those scenes) was not barred from the site.

Come on guys, it's not that hard to understand: FO's will consider on a case by case basis whether those ****** topics might be exempt for a thread, instead of the old policy of just not allowing them at all under any circumstance.

If you don't like it, feel free to go to some other website. It has seemed to rarely stop conversation on here in the past, it won't now.

Thanks for that Petra. While I understand why it's not kosher to discuss the top 10 most pleasurable *******, I've never understood why it is that we couldn't talk about something on the news. For example, a few weeks ago there was a thread about how Hamid Karzai had just made it legal for a man to **** his wife. It was swiftly closed. We weren't fantasizing about stalking and ****** women, we were just discussing something that was in the news. If NBC could air it on tv, I didn't understand why we couldn't talk about it on Freeones. Thanks Petra. :hatsoff:
