her website is "Teporarily Unavailable" that tells us alot, me thinks that people just got bored of the fact that she was doing "the same old sh*t" and decided to leave and stop paying, thats my opinion either way you guys are gunna flame.

i would be nice to see her go topless, but im perfectly fine with what she's got now, no need to rush, but like i said peeps probs got bored and left the site, and now she's not got no moneys..... :(:(:(

Let me tell you what really happened:
In late November early December 2009 Periscope Media was contacted by a few record companies with a threat for a lawsuit due to copyright violation (using music as soundtrack for the videos without explicit consent from the artists).
Periscope media had no choice but to pay what the record companies asked.
Denise didn't want to pay her share and as a result Periscope media applied for "Denise Milani" as a registered trademark in order to prevent her from earning more money from the website.
More than two months later Denise decided to fight this in a desperate attempt to get some money from her thriving website.
Contrary to what has been written here, she hasn't won anything yet.

There may very well have been something to this; I'd noticed a few of her video clips had background music that used some well-known artists. It's not much of a stretch to find companies like BMG, Sony, etc. threaten legal action.
It's the same reason that videos on YouTube that use familiar music in the background sometimes get the audio swapped for something generic, or get taken down by YouTube altogether... Those music publishing people mean business, and the last thing you need if you've got a high-profile website like Denise's is them breathing down your neck. They could take you for millions.

The problem then, would be that someone at Periscope Media in charge of editing and assembling her videos got sloppy at some point and just started dropping in tracks he/she wasn't supposed to. If Denise balked at giving up any of her money to prevent the lawsuits, then you've got the makings for one ugly legal mess...and so here we are.

As far as the situation with my old website as you can see denisemilani. com has been taking down temporally. As we speaking, I'm in the process of a lawsuit with Periscope Media (the company i use to worked with).

For a while i was kinda quite for couple of reasons: One of the main reason was that i was SO shock ,that i couldn't even believe that someone can be so unfair and do such a thing to me and be able to sleep. Specially when i put so much afford, responsibility and i trusted to the company. I worked very hard and i was very focused.

Second big reason was that i didn't even know how to put that in words.

For a while i was looking for a good attorney and let me tell you, that was a journey it self:). So, finely i found one, that i really believe in and till now it's a pleasure to work with him( except the bills).

I put a press together with my attorney a while ago, to keep my fans and friends posted ,what's is really going on. I saw that you have been able to get a chance to read the press here(yahoo group) as well. The case is progressing and hopefully soon all will be better. I am praying everyday so does my family and my friends. Of course i have to say a BIG THANK YOU , because daily i get a lot of emails with your support and you gave me a strength to go thru all of this. Thank you very much from bottom of my heart for your love,support and your kindness.

I really believe in good and also i believe that true always comes out eventually.

As far as my new website i'm not sure when is gonna be up because my preference is to wait after all the process i'm going thru, is gonna be completely done and solved. Turning her back to someone who made her who she is and probably payed for all her plastic surgeries is just disgusting.
Add betrayal to dishonesty, greed, cruelty, hypocrisy and narcism.

You've kind of lost me with what you're saying there -- but I'm assuming you mean Denise was supposed to take a fall for the website guys?
Doesn't the idea that they screwed up and left everyone open to some gigantic fines and legal costs have something to do with it, too? And then they attempt to claim rights to her name and image? I wouldn't say these guys sound completely scrupulous themselves either.

For her part, Denise should have gotten herself more educated about the business before jumping in, and had some kind of ironclad contract that gave her more control over the whole DM brand. But it's too late for that, so the best thing she probably could do now is tell them, "You know what? Screw it...the website's yours, the content, even the name. I'm going to start over, and be your worst nightmare (competition)"
As we pretty well established before, "Denise Milani" isn't her real name anyway. I'd think she could call herself pretty much anything, and she'd be able to keep her following and get new fans too; because then, all the new content would be coming from her, and the Periscope guys could do nothing but rehash her existing stuff.
( Erica Campbell found all this out the hard way herself before she retired )

While I dont agree with everything your saying did anyone find that interview Denise did for Chickipedia to be creepy/dishonest/self-involved I mean she took credit for stoping a guy from committing suicide but then went right around in like the next question and said none of her fans seem crazy.
