Dear Maggie, as I said the matter related in a sense to policy.
Jane Fonda protest against the war and did not care what the majority thought and that's why she deserves a hug.
In the same manner that VVs idol, Adolf "Schicklgruber" Hitler ( Premium Link Upgrade ) was protesting that many Jewish Mamas and their families were using oxygen that the German people needed, to shout "Heil Hitler"?

If I was in a POW camp in North VietNam and got put in the hot box or had some bones broken (pretty much a "slow agonizing death" sentence) for refusing to do a propaganda photo shoot with Hanoi Jane, I'd probably not feel the least bit like hugging her.
Spoiled ***** of Uberprivilege, if it wasn't for Cat Ballou I'd never watch movie 1 of hers.
(I do love that pre Hanoi Jane movie; Nat "king" Cole and Dwayne Hickman (Dobie Gillis) and Lee Marvin, etc...)
