Don't sack York, it's picturesque. There are cobbled streets and ruins, a shop called The Cat Gallery that only sells things for cats or cat themed things, and a Betty's Tea Rooms that does amazing sandwiches and cakes. The White Witch and I were going to settle down there. It's lovely.

Unless you mean York, Pennsylvania, about which I know nothing. Except being Pennsylvania and that you mention Independence Day it might have something to do with the Dec of Indy, liberty bells and whatnot. And that it's named after the real York.
