David Blane to live in aquarium for a week

Can I donate a few piranhas for that aquarium?

I saw something saying he was going to attempt to break the world record for holding your breath underwater first, which is just short of 9 minutes. I guess after that he'll be given a breathing apparatus.

CK80, does it matter how he pees or poops? He'll be underwater. He can just let them rip, and he won't need to bathe in the water, of course. LOL He probably won't eat. As for sleeping, well, if he's hooked up to a breathing apparatus, I suppose he'd just fall asleep... I mean, you don't need to think about breathing when you sleep - it's autonomic.

I wonder if there will be a live webcam going for this... :ban:

ROFLMAO at GENIUS' comment about the Great White!!!

Yeah, he can't guff without us knowing.

the least little bottom burp and the bubbles will give it away.

Now, how big is the aquarium and how often do they change the water? I mean, just imagine how many little brown floaters there are going to be in there at the end of the week.

Are they going to filter the water?...it looks dirty and it does say the water should stay clean and he has tubes to relieve himself...I'm afraid to see what he will think of next....a week in a volcano?...that people might watch

The sad thing is...Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.....

Basically an Opera house or series of them...is hosting this guy!!!!

It think it would be funny if everybody left and forgot about him. :1orglaugh If David Blane falls in the woods does he make a sound?

I kind of watched the finale. I think he ended up holding his breath for about 7 minutes. Although he didn't break the record, he still accomplished something that's really hard to do. I'll give him credit for that.

I think he's doing more good than bad with his stunts - I mean, the only person that could get hurt is him, and it's for our entertainment. Sure he's getting famous, but fame won't mean anything to him if he dies during one of his stunts. He's trying to bring back mystery and unknowns into a society, that thanks to science and technology, doesn't have many general unknowns left to deal with. If he were around back in the 50's he would have done much better. It's all about supply and demand... unfortunately there is not much demand for David Blane's antics so why does he keep supplying us with it?
