just to throw it out there, because I don't know, when was the last time Prince recorded anything that was popular? I know radio stations pretty much play only what the record companies make available to them and Prince had gone indy for a while.

It's better that he isn't on the radio. IMO 99.9% of radio is junk...

I don't think this is a fair comparison. Dave Grohl is the greatest American rocker of the last 20 years. Prince is a diverse musician who let his ego ruin him, basically....

I forgot that Prince basically plays every instrument in the studio so the comparison is not a sound one.

Anyway, I am a big fan of Grohl and I agree with the above quote.

I don't know... He wasn't a great drummer. He makes some simple and catchy songs with the foo fighters (I like a handful of 'em) and Probot was ok.

There's far more talented artists out there.
