Dancing with the Stars... Rigged??

So does anyone else watch the show? This entire season people have been voted off that I do not believe should have been... Audrina was the first one. She had the top scores and got voted off.

And tonight... Brandy...

She has been one of the best dancers the entire time! Where-as Bristol has been the worst every single week! The show is supposed to be about the best dancer...

I am now thinking the show is rigged. Bristol should have been sent home weeks ago... yet she's safe... and Brandy goes home??

Anyone else agree or have any thoughts on it??

A friend of mine watches this show religiously and she has bitched constantly about Bristol still being on the show. I wouldn't be surprised if tea baggers were stuffing the ballot box by overzealously texting and calling.

I'm not really sure why they care though. I hope that most people don't equate success in a poorly executed, pseudo celebrity dance competition with political prowess and electability for the contestant's mother. But, then again, who knows?

Side note: I wouldn't kick Audrina Patridge out of bed. I would, however, dropkick Bristol Palin.

I think they have tried everything to get rid of her-from the instant dance to Brandy's partner feuding with the judges and nothing has worked. All of Mama Palins's supporters are working very hard to deliver a win so it looks really bad for the other 2 unless more people start voting.

Of course it's rigged. Half the guys on this forum want to bang Bristol. Bristol's ass in a tight dress = ratings gold.

they say this season has had the highest number of votes ever... so people are voting (apparently). I just really can't see why Bristol is still in... she's a worse dancer than Brandy.

Since the contest is supposed to be a dance contest and not a popularity contest... I would think they should change the way it's run... where judges votes count for 60% or more of the vote... and the call in voters 40% or less. That would make it more fair and more of a dance contest... where the best dancer could win...

I wouldn't say it's rigged. More like the idiot brigade is voting like crazy to keep Bristol on the show. I don't watch the show (never have), but I've read the news articles every week.

I still don't understand what Bristol is doing on a show called Dancing with the Stars. She's the daughter of a former Governor/Vice-Presidential candidate, who had a child. The other contestants can be considered stars (hell even Sarah Palin can be considered a star) but Bristol doesn't even fit the criteria.

All these shows are rigged. Dancing with the "stars", Biggest Loser, etc. They're trying to get ratings, not figure out which one of these has beens is the best dancer.

I wouldn't say its rigged, its just obvious that America isn't voting on who has the best dancing skills. Bristol is a horrible dancer in comparison to the rest of the group, but her naivity and vulnerability probably appeals to more voters than Brandy's "boo hoo-ing" over the car accident she had that others were not able to walk away from. Brandy doesn't appeal to me, and neither does Jennifer Grey. They're top notch dancers, but I enjoy watching Kyle more, and I always look forward to seeing if Bristol will suck or not. This week, she didn't suck. So she got to stay. Who really cares?!

Seriously, voting on tv shows is pointless. It's just a method used to get more viewers because the viewers are led to believe they can make a difference.
