ABout 8 months ago I started helping raise money for a friend's dog who needed eye surgery. I was simply asking people to donate and that got frustrating and very tough. We eventually raised enough to get her eye surgery and all was good in the world.
Then a few months ago I saw a dog get hit by a car and when I followed up on what happened to him I was told he went to a rescue. I called and found out he was doing ok and had surgery to remove a leg. He was in a ****** home and was hoping for adoption. I started to help them raise money and came up with the idea that I could sell something and give 100% of the money to them.
So I've been selling these custom T shirts and have given over $2700 to 2 different pet rescues that have paid for heart worm treatments, illness due to neglect including a pitbull who had a rope around his neck for so long that his skin was growing over the rope!
