"Cunt " is all I can come up with.

Uh...if she refers to him as "General" (which it appears she does), which is a title he worked so hard to get...then shouldn't he afford her the same respect?

She wants respect, but she called him out in the wrong way.

Exactly !
You know what ? You consistently play it right down the middle with little if any bias. :hatsoff:
That's more than I can say for myself ! :D

Back to the multi millionare bitch (by way of politics) - I know her antics well, the self absorbed carpet baggin' Marin county Calif. (via New Yawk) pompous ass.

I must add :

Boxer: "I worked very hard to get where I am today . . "

And the Brigadier General DIDN'T ?

:wtf: is she talking about ?

Also
One could effectively argue that by the Generals' addressing the senator as "ma'am", his intention was to offer the grouch a higher degree of respect given the 2 choices. :D

Well it would be instructive to see what if anything may have precipitated that exchange. Is he calling everyone else Senator except for her or some other circumstance? It would have been interesting to see the whole thing as we know how sound bites can come off.

Heres a better one that shows what an arrogant bitch she really is and note that she doesnt practice what she preaches. I cant believe we still let these idiots run this country. Seriously...are there not some people out there that can do the jub with dignity and ethics and really work FOR the people.

Okaaay....it still might make better sense to see what if anything precipitated that exchange.

Secondly, the rest of that might be relevant if there were examples of her addressing military officers without preceding it with their ranks.:wave2:

Legzman

what the fuck you lookin at?
I'd smack her for that!

It's her title, he has his and she's courteous enough to call him by it, he should do the same. What's the problem? She asked nicely....

....storm in a tea cup, me thinks.

I was talking to a friend of mine who's the General Deputy Assistant Secretary For Administration/Deputy Chief Information Officer, he says he's worked very hard to get to be the General Deputy Assistant Secretary For Administration/Deputy Chief Information Officer, but he's hoping, if he keeps up the effort he may get promoted to Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Special Initiatives and Liaison Activities. So we may well laugh :1orglaugh but he's come a long way since he was Office of the Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity :D

Whenever I see a conspicuously truncated sound bite, there's usually a portion of the complete audio that doesn't serve the interests of the person doing the spinning.:2 cents:

I don't think she ever made such an implication in this clip. Her asking him to call her Senator rather than ma'am is not her accusing him of not working hard to get where he is. In fact...her calling him by his title of General would rather seem to be a recognition and admission of this fact on her part.

So, not quite sure where your argument stems from...

In the military, addressing a woman as "ma'am" is a show of respect.

Demanding that she be addressed as "Senator" every time he says anything is arrogant as all fuck.

If you're having a long talk with the President, sometimes you say "Mr. President" but sometimes you just say "Sir."

The obvious situation here is a cranky elitist Senator who has little respect for anyone but her ownself, giving shit to a man using the most courteous form of address to one of his bosses...she has shown that when she is using the name of an "opponent" she has no need to use their title (like Gov. or Senator, Or President) or show respect.
And a typical "bend over backwards" to explain away any Dem being an asshole, but assign the Devil's own motives to any and all non Lib non Dems kinda situational analysis.

De Nile ain't just a ribber for HM...it's a way of life!

Seems like a real military guy would know that, huh?
I heard the same comment made by someone in the know when it comes to military manners...the General was being respectful.

Boxer was being a cunt....:D

Yeah and reading is fundamental. I haven't explained anything in this thread. I asked is there footage that may put what she's saying in some other context?

Is there??? It always seems suspicious to me (no matter who the source, what the subject or to whom it refers) when video or audio is confined to a small sound bite.

I personally try never to rely on those kinds of sound bites because they rarely ever tell the full story and you end up looking like the fool when the rest of the footage is exposed.

I have to agree with BB, wow that's a first  j/k

he should have said senator (even if she works hard for it :rofl:), and if she had any respect for him she would have said sir. She didn't, he did ... his fault for being polite ... It is stated she is a bitch, but she asked it and he didn't, so she out ruled him ...

all by all, it ain't worth talking about it ...

at another point, she kinda turns me on with being so impolite ... i love woman with high positions ... :1orglaugh

Again, I just don't buy it. In the clip, she called him General and not "sir"...so she asked he call her Senator and not ma'am. I don't get what the big deal is and why she's a "cunt" for doing so. It's not like she degraded him or called him "cockface" or "lowly military dude".
