Cro Cop vs Frank Mir at UFC 119

Well since Big Nog had to pull out of this bout due to injury that will require surgery, Cro Cop has been set to replace him.
Being a big fan of Cro Cop since the days Pride FC, i really want him to win this fight but im sure Mir might pull off a lucky sub on him.
So im gonna say Cro Cop via a spectacular LHK in the 2nd round.

So who are you guys picking in this fight?

that said, I have not seen Cro Cop fight well in a bout 2 years. Mir is trying to save face. I go with Mir with a submission in the 2nd

I kinda agree with you there mate.
This fight is all or nothing for Cro Cop, if he loses then he's gotta retire IMO

But im sure he will pull off a win & eventually & HOPEFULLY get a title shot against whoever is the UFC champ come early 2011.

I'll go with Mir, Cro Cop hasn't terribly impressive in UFC considering all the hype when they brought him here.

Crocop has been one of the most intimidating & feared kickboxer in the world prior to him going to MMA but his ground game is still mediocre. He's more of a standup fighter where some columnist suggested its more suited in the Pride ring than a UFC cage. Mir was a former, and was a dominant, UFC HW champ prior to his motor vehicle accident. I'll go with Mir due to his superior BJJ skills and his boxing skills has improved...just ask Minotauro and Kongo.
