Crissy Moran Leaving Adult Industry??? (Retire Retiring)

Re: Crissy Moran Leaving Adult Industry???

Wow!!! That is definately a good reason to leave the industry! I fail to see how she's imposing on my happiness though. What does she mean?

Re: Crissy Moran Leaving Adult Industry???

I read it all - I don't see exactly what you're on about.... I don't see "retire" anywhere and her allusions to being saved also aren't clear to me that she's leaving.

Anyway, she was on the board today (albeit for 1 post) and didn't mention anything and she posted this on 10 August:

I am still here Lovla!! Don't worry! I am glad you like my new stuff!
Kisses!
Crissy

Hi Crissy; :wave2: Whatever you decide to do, I wish you all the best in the world. I've enjoyed your past to the fullest. I wish you all the best in your future!!! Take Care Sweetie ;)

Re: Crissy Moran Leaving Adult Industry???

I must say ... Crissy's post was one of the most sobering things I ever read about the porn industry. Nothing new was said but from the perspective and sincerity that it, really made me wonder.

Crissy, good luck in whatever you do next.

On a side note, scroll down further after her blog entry, good ol' Nightfly made a few posts :p

I respect her decision...nuff said.

I guess I'm just "too open" for most on this board ...

First off, to Chrissy:

I'm glad you're beginning (or possibly just continuing) your spiritual journey. Finding yourself, questioning yourself, evaluating the important things in life, they are very key to happiness. Having friends, friends you respect, admire and want to follow in their footsteps because they have found happiness are always good examples to follow. They come in many forms and beliefs.

One piece of advice I can give you is never let anyone else tell you what to do and its okay to question, because there is nothing wrong with asking about anything. You will know what is right and wrong for yourself, those you love and those you wish to help. And never, ever be ashamed of who you are, who you were or fear where you are going -- because they are the things that define you, as they have always.

Never, ever feel you must explain yourself to others. Live for what you believe today, in the love for those friends you hold dear and those you care about. Ignore anyone who can't see you for yourself, and feel a need to focus on whatever they wish to judge you. Your actions and caring for others should speak for yourself, regardless of whatever anyone might think of you at any time of your life.

Secondly, to most everyone else (sans BNF and select others):

I've never seen a set of more "jump to conclusions" by anyone -- especially in a few cases that were more "judgemental/absolute" and, in one case so far, "insulting." This is about her finding herself, questioning her place, find those people who care about her and those people she herself can help. It has nothing to do with whether or not she will leave the industry or whatever else your superficial views on her newfound interest suggest.

Furthermore, to address one poster, this has nothing to do with age or beauty or anything, and I still can't believe you just summed it up so artificially. The woman is a beautiful goddess (yes, admittedly, too thin for my normal taste as other people will wonder why I'm saying this about Chrissy Moran) -- but she is more beautiful now to me than ever before (and I mean physically too, to be an artificial male myself). But that all aside, I would love to sit down and chat with her sometime about her experiences in her new journey -- because it's one of the most interesting and pure experiences to have.

Sometimes you just have to sit down and look at life a little different -- to get the full perspective on it -- regardless of where it leads and whatever else anyone will read into it.

Re: Crissy Moran Leaving Adult Industry???

I am not a great fan of Chrissy, but I can respect her reasons for leaving, even if I dont subscribe to the "Jesus" routine so many claim to follow, all to often ive seen it taken out of desperation rather than actual faith. But how can anyone enter the porn industry believing it to be all wine and roses at the end of the day?

An interview with krystal steal stood out to me when she said "We're there to work, not pleasure one another", does it not say something when a woman regards sex as a machine like operation that pays the bills rather than the intimate act between man and woman that it really is? I've often questioned the validity of starlets who interact with their fans, especially as pointed out above when information on varying boards seems to contradict one another.

In fact it has been that "interaction" with fans that has destroyed my appreciation of several models, foremost Erica Campbell. After issues with her website and then reading post after post of quite blatant ass kissing, it became less of a simple admiration than it did a competition to see which would garner the most acknowledgement in return.

If indeed chrissy leaves the industry, good for her, takes courage to go from essentially selling yourself to make an honest living, though I question what experience you could bring to the table.

It's easy to note those who plunge into it artificially. Lesser known are the ones that actually take what they learn and experience to heart, regardless of what direction it takes them.

The adult industry is about knowing what you can and can't deal with, and knowing yourself well enough to deal with it. Many people enter it -- among countless other professions -- not recognizing that or knowing how it will affect them.

Here's a question for everyone to ponder:
Had Larry Flynt not been shot, and lost his manhood, would he have left his faith?

I ask myself what I might think if I was in Larry's position. Where would I lay blame? I know I would question my faith. I know I would be very angry. I know I would be mad at many people. I always wondered how such an experience would change me.

BTW, some of my viewpoints are more along the lines of those of Ruth Carter. Although I think she takes it too far to another extreme. But they are still ones of spirtual guidance, enlightenment and a true faith.

Would you say that these people need a "Jump to Conclusions Mat"? You see its this mat with different conclusions...that you can jump to.:D
Sorry your choice of language is entertaining.
