you're right. But I don't think we'll be able to put a force together that can invade the U.S.A. ...
Free the U.S.! :nanner:
That's what Germany thought, France before them (Napoleon) and The Roman Empire before that.
It's a historical fact that any one nation that becomes too big also falls down big.
The English Empire would be a prime example.
Powerful nations come and go, it's the way of the world.
(No, it's not an Anti-America post. It's a post based on facts.)
Well put, DrMotorcity.
Saddam, Uday, and Qusay lived off of the deaths of so many others...life Vampires.
The Undead have no souls, and now it's a moot point 'cause they are all completely DEAD !
However, there are reputedly many half brothers/half sisters from Saddam's many wives...and more should eventually be discovered.

Why did the American Army and Marine not invade Cuba and execute Fidel Castro ? Castro is worse than Hussein !
That's right boys. Rally round the carcass. Wave your flags in the air and celebrate the dead body as if god were right there with you and the devil was lying dead beside you. Everyone knows that when we kill someone, it's in the course of justice and righteousness, and when they do, it is punishable by extreme and unusual murder. We're right, they're wrong. That's it. Who cares if that's what they believe too. We KNOW we're right. We KNOW they're wrong. Although, they believe that too.
So he is executed. The man the US put in power. The man responsible for far fewer deaths than our current US president. But hey - he's the devil. And we can feel good about killing him in cold blood because we are gods, and gods can decide whether a man should live or die, and since we are gods, we know we always make the right decision.
Now if we can just get some wild animals to devour the carcass in order to really humiliate his dead body. Or we could cut it into pieces and send bits of him to all of the Islamic nations, despite the fact that Sadaam was actually a secular ruler, very little to do with Islam. Who cares - calling him a radical islamist fits our program, so that's what we do. We rock. We rock. We rock.
That's just my take, from everything we have all said.
That is a good point, however,in the region,it seems to be a cause of some feelings and opinions.I noticed that according to statements that especially the Kurds and the Iranians seem to be quite pleased to be rid of the Man that destroyed so many of their families.Until seeing a couple of documentaries on His career,I had forgotten what a slaughter(on both sides) that the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980's was.Maybe it just closes out some horrible memories for a lot of these people.I personally don't see the point in anyone wasting their time shadow boxing with this issue. He is gone, it does not end anythingmany will carry on the "cause". Nothing is solved or will ever be resolved. Just a different face in the news tomorrow. Not one thing ended with his death except his heartbeat.
IMHO of course.
