** Couple of ideas

Signature sizes: I know it is currently 575x100.... I would like it to be 500x150, maybe with a restricition on the file size.

Avatar sizes: I would like them just a bit bigger, about 100x100.

Post delay: Currently set at ten seconds, I preferred the 30 second delay.

Edit time: I think one hour is a bit too long. 10 - 15 minutes should be plenty to spot any mistakes and rectify them even on dial up.

Forum lay out: I am unsure as to what the member forum is specifically for... it just seems to be a bit wasted right now.


None of these somments are criticisms, just my personal preferences, and you know what they say - if you dont ask, you dont get!

I don't think the edit time is an hour. I keep thinking that it's only 5 minutes. I've run out of time while in the middle of editing the post and I know it didn't take me an hour....

I personally think that the restrictions on avatars and sigs should only limit the width and file size. By restricting the widths the forums would be kept in an easily visable window. I hate it when I have to enlarge my screen or use the side scroll bar to see everything. Secondly, limiting the file size should prevent most of the enormous pics as well as long loading times. The length shouldn't matter because there have been posts that last two or more screens already. The members area is a good idea as I always look and think there should be something special there. :2 cents:

Edit time is definitey an hour Foxy. Marie confirmed this recently, and yesterday I edited one of my posts 45 minutes after I made it!

I think thats a great idea about celebratory threads being in the members forum!
