Could you handle being famous?

I could handle it. I probably wouldn't like it though. Then again I don't really leave home a lot anyhow. I'm not a big socializer. I'm not the kind of person that feels the need to go out and party or make a spectacle of myself so the paparazzi wouldn't have too much material to work with. I wouldn't be an attention whore. If I was rich I could afford to have everybody else do my shopping for me or have stuff sent to me. The public would probably just think I was boring in my personal life after a little bit of time passed would move on.

I thought about it, and I think that to me it won't be a problem. I do not understand celebrities who complain about their "hard life" and I do not think that attention from photographers and reportes is so much disturtbing as they want to display it.

The more you hide and the more stupid/scandalous you act with reporters and papparazzi, the more attention from them you get. It is the same shit as with autographs: the most expensive are from those people, who don't sign them too much. But if there are thousands of autographs of some guy, they will not be that rare and will not arouse such a big interest.

So I think if you want to live kinda calm life all you need is to feed the mass media from time time with some news and give big dull interviews about everything they want. When there is a lot of "legal" information from you, it would be no place to lie and gossips and "secret investigations". And in opposite: the more you fight with them and the more you want to hide, the more speculations and gossips about your privacy will appear.

You have to admire how Labron has handled his success. :D

Warren Buffett and LeBron James Partnership

Last Sunday evening, after a nice salmon dinner in my Boston hotel, I turned on the Cleveland –Denver NBA basketball game. Three superstars LaBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson – what a trio to watch!

I tuned in to the ESPN broadcast in the middle of an interview with Warren Buffett and Jim Grey. I don’t think of Warren Buffett as an NBA fan – but there he was at a game in Cleveland. Why would Warren travel to Cleveland for an NBA game? It turns out Warren was a guest of LaBron James.

I could handle being famous for about a week. Then, I would realize that I couldn't even take a shit without people trying to take pictures of me. Sure, the money and recognition would be nice, but it would also be insanely hard to deal with. So, no, I don't think I could handle it.

since i'm considered a celebrity in our small town, i kinda know how it feels. people always come up to me and start talking as if i know them personally which is okay. sometimes a girl will take my picture or a kid ask for an autograph. people will buy me a drink in a bar which is nice. all in all, not bad but if i was rich, i know it would be a hassle especially with girls trying to take advantage. charlie sheen talking about using prostitutes - "the reason i give them money is not to have sex, but for them to go away afterward." :2 cents:

No, I would not. Being followed around by the paparazzi all the time would get on my nerves and ultimately lead me to punching one of them out. Basically, I'd be like Sean Penn when he was going out with Madonna.

In the words of Tupac Shakur, "All I want is money, fuck the fame, I'm a simple man."

I would handle it in my own way I suppose, so yes to your question OP.

One of the plus sides to being famous is the amount of girls that would want to suck you off and/or fuck your brains out. So being famous does have it's good points.

most celebrities are high on oxycotin or tranquilizers most of the time
