Sometimes when they try to make someone look "cool" in tv/movies by having them wear a t-shirt of a band that´s pretty much universally considered "cool" it just doesn´t work at all. I remember an episode of Friends where Rachel was wearing a MC5 t-shirt, and it just made me laugh. Somehow i just couldn´t picture myself her headbanging to Kick Out The Jams or Baby Won´t Ya.
