If Donald Trump, the House of Representatives, and the Senate can help to get rid of the SALT deduction limitation of just $10,000 when trying to itemize on a federal tax return then it will be an accomplishment. It is adversely impacting so many high end tax states like New York, California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Illinois, etc. I know many people in New York and in New Jersey who have lost the ability to fully take off their paid real estate taxes along with the state, city tax withholding amounts that they have on their Form W-2. Many in New York who used to be able to itemize can't do it anymore.

Probably not. If you try to deport 12 million people and have an error rate of 0.2% (1 in 500), that is about 24,000 people. Not that those citizens would be deported, but they will face some inconvenience proving citizenship.

Y'know we all have lives here or at least some of us do. I live on the Westside of Los Angeles which is the gooder side. My Persian Christian bro who lives next door is a mega MAGA Trump supporter. He talks about Republicans using flowery adjectives. He's my neighbor so I invisibly roll my eyes then agree where we can be agreeable. Anyway my point is not to take politics so seriously. I was outside talking to him when his little son was present. He went on a rant about "the supporters of this Kamala Harris!" wanting to take their signs down off their lawns. I told him to be patient and wait because "Success is the best revenge", also saying, "Just wait one more month and you can laugh at them". He didn't seem to listen and then threatened to cancel Christmas if this Kamala Harris wins. His son got visibly upset then I focused on the poor kid saying, "No. No. No. We are going to have the best Christmas ever this year." He's a great guy and neighbor but allows his emotions to get the better of him too often.
