PS4 looks more promising, but as little I used my PS3...I will not be spending all that money on any new console. I use my PS3 more to watch movies than anything. Yeah I spent $500 on a Blue Ray player, but at least the technology was fresh. Things were awesome with PSone and PS2 but I'm old skool and there ain't many games these days that I really wanna spend $50 or $60 on.

I'll be sticking with Sony.I have a PS3 at the moment and if I need to buy a new one I'll wait for the PS4 when it comes down in price next year.At least with Sony you can use pre-owned games whereas with Microsoft,I heard somewhere that this will not be the case for the new xbox.

none for me. nintendo needs to pull their heads out of their asses though. its sad to see them failing so miserably. sure, playability is set so simply that anyone can play the games, young and old and thats great, but they are missing the rest of the market. where's the fucking games? bunch of shitty games with a mario and zelda game here and there. theories are stating that game development companies don't even bother converting their games to wii since its so different. that's a recipe for failure right there.
and the wii U looks like its just a big dumb controller with a screen on it. why you would want to use it to play a game on the TV with it playing on the screen is pointless. i played one at walmart the other day. sure, the mario game was pretty nice, but, wtf. the screen was shit. i've always been loyal to ninendo. only things else ive owned is a game gear, and a ps1. i have a ps2 but no games, just use it for dvds and got it for 5 bucks at a second hand store, but ive always sided with nintendo.
oh well. at least the wii is hackable and i have plenty of awesome classic games on older systems to enjoy.

Sony impressed me more and they haven't had to do any back peddling to do it. I usually get two consoles, one as the main and one for the exclusives but unless the Xbox One's exclusives interest me (which so far Killer Instinct is the only one), then I'll just be owning one console for the first time since the NES.
Microsoft did a complete 180 and are now allowing the use of used games on the Xbox One.
I've got the PS4 with Battlefield 4 bundle preordered.

If I were Nintendo I'd pull out of the console business and just make games for the new Playstation and Xbox. Those two make great consoles and Nintendo makes great games so it's perfect. Imagine playing stuff like Mario Kart with the way better online experience that those two consoles offer. Nintendo should stick with handhelds and games as those are two things they've got down perfectly.
As for what console I'll be getting, I will probably wait until the first price drop and go with the PS4.

I understand they fucked themselves with the E3 fiasco but the poll could of used its proper name since they changed the policies before hand.
I am considering a Xbox One or a PS4 but not till after both are released to see more of it in action and hopefully by then I can find a discount or deal for a better bundle when Im ready to buy.

Its a dumb acronym created when microsoft was being idiotic. There is no need to show bias and perpetuate the acronym in a thread that should start off neutral since it contains a poll. I'm honestly so sick of the "console wars" and the "pc master race" garbage. I remember a time when gamers were just gamers and we all got along regardless of what platform you were playing on.
