Confusing similar forum members

senob44 - seriously, that baby.....it was comical the first 6 times seeing it on the forums and it gave me a light mental chuckle but seriously; are you ever going to change that? I might as well put something from Ogrish in my signature. I have come to 'know' you only through that specific 'baby' picture. Hopefully, no one else has it.

On topic: for an uncertain reason I confuse MRPIMPN4EVA with Friday_on_my_mi. I believe that it was once the colors in their avatars.

Due to popular demand on this thread, I have changed my signature. It's nothing particularly special, just something I could whip up in a minute using paint. No more Baby Selwyn for now. I may change it again soon or I may take some of my fellow members up on their offers to make a sig for me.

There are tiers of members IMO.

Most, if not all of the long term, "daily" members are very distinct to me. Actually, most "daily" members in general are distinct, especially ones active in multiple sections.

I know the broad majority of members from their signatures/avatars first, name second, forum location third, and content of the posts last. There are exceptions to that order: #1 remains, but some members are immediately known to me as link posters or Talk debaters 2nd and so on.

I think that most who have reached "brand name status" on this or any board, have cultivated a personality, so for me, I don't really get confused too often. (Which is surprising given my airheadedness.)

BNF was the first one to uncover my plot.

Somehow, tunsty, I think that members don't want to know anything at all about how/when/where/why I come.

It's very refreshing to see an Internet forum moderator admit to a 'character fault.'

It makes the moderator seem more personable and less (almost) mechanically arrogant. 'Airheadedness' is a trait that I have seen manifested from many Internet forum administrators - I don't know whether it stems from the rigors of patrolling a thousand member message board and reading hundreds of messages a day, (20 some private messages a day?) or simply a general aloofness/introversion that Internet mainstays tend to possess. I believe that a lot of Internet posters could do well for themselves (I included) by reading back over some of their previous postings and ask themselves the question: ' who the fuck do I think I am?'
