Any self-respecting Republican/Conservative should be vehemently against this law. This is the epitome of destructive government regulation of a private-sector market. No different than the EPA holding back industry or the FTC holding back commerce. By basic free-market principles, if condoms were necessary in porn, their use would arise of its own accord, either because 1) it cost too much to pay actresses to do scenes without them, or 2) consumers preferred to watch it. Yet, here we have big government deciding that it knows better than either the producers OR consumers of porn and, in the process, creating an expensive, unenforceable law that does nothing but drive away a valuable industry. LA is the perfect example of all this country's problems.
